Join us on 'International Transgender Day of Visibility' as we come together to celebrate the Trans Aware Cancer Care project. The Trans Aware Cancer Care project supported trans+ individuals and allies to share their experiences of healthcare through art and creativity. Now, we are delighted to invite you to a celebration event, where we will share our final outputs with you.

Over the last few months, the research team have been lovingly hand sewing the fabric squares created together to form a flag, alongside partners, allies and friends. As well as this, the team at Bournemouth University have been putting together a video of the projects journey. Community Researchers have been busy creating art books and a zine.

Although the project officially 'finished' last year, its work and legacy continue. Members of the research team are currently collaborating on a project with the breast / chest screening team at University Hospital Southampton.

This informal event is an opportunity to catch up, and to come together to reflect on the amazing outputs from a truly impactful project. We hope you are able to join us.
